LYNN, Ind. — Lynn Town Marshal Brad Fisher died in the line of duty on July 29, 2026, after he was struck by a vehicle while assisting with a police pursuit in Randolph County. He was 55.

According to WISH-TV’s report, which cited Indiana State Police, the pursuit began after officers attempted to stop a reported stolen vehicle in Winchester. Marshal Fisher was assisting near U.S. 36 and Main Street in Lynn when the vehicle struck him shortly before 5:45 a.m.
Marshal Fisher was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver was later taken into custody, according to the report.
