ThinBlueNews remembers Police Officer Dustin Krish of the Carrollton Police Department in Georgia, whose End of Watch was Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, Officer Krish died from injuries he suffered while directing traffic on Highway 27 in Carrollton on June 11, 2025. ODMP reports that he was struck by a vehicle, airlifted for treatment, underwent multiple surgeries for severe brain injuries, and died after his condition deteriorated in June 2026.
Local Atlanta station 11Alive also reported that the Carrollton Police Department was mourning Officer Krish after he died nearly a year after the line-of-duty crash.
ODMP lists Officer Krish as 33 years old and says he had served with the Carrollton Police Department for more than three years. ODMP lists his survivors as his wife and his brother, who also serves with the agency.
This remembrance is offered with respect for Officer Krish’s family, his Carrollton Police Department colleagues, and the Georgia law-enforcement community carrying his memory forward.
Officer Krish’s End of Watch is a solemn reminder that even a traffic-control assignment can ask everything of an officer, and that remembrance should be carried with dignity long after the final call.
