ThinBlueNews remembers Police Officer Kevin Dale Apple of the Pea Ridge Police Department in Arkansas on the anniversary of his End of Watch, Saturday, June 26, 2021.

The Officer Down Memorial Page records that Officer Apple was struck and killed by a vehicle in a gas-station parking lot at Slack Street and North Curtis Avenue while he and another officer were attempting to contact occupants of a vehicle connected to an earlier call.

ODMP lists Officer Apple as 53 years old, with 23 years of law-enforcement service. He served with the Pea Ridge Police Department for three years and had previously served with the Lowell Police Department and the Farmington Police Department.

The City of Pea Ridge maintains an Officer Kevin Apple Memorial, asking the community to keep his memory alive and to take time to reflect when memories of Officer Apple come to mind.

This anniversary remembrance is offered with respect for Officer Apple's family, his Pea Ridge Police Department colleagues, the Arkansas law-enforcement community, and everyone who continues to carry his name forward.
