NBC 6 South Florida published the footage Tuesday, reporting that the emergency happened May 12. The video gives the public a new look at the officers’ rapid response while preserving the child’s identity.
CPR begins within moments
NBC 6 reported that two officers arrived in the home’s backyard as the child’s mother pleaded for help. One officer began CPR. The boy expelled water and regained consciousness, according to the station’s account of the footage.
