IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Idaho State Police and Broulim’s Fresh Foods have begun the annual 10 Counties of Christmas donation drive to provide holiday meals for eastern Idaho families. The drive began Nov. 6 and runs through Nov. 25, according to the agency’s November 6, 2026 release.
How the meals reach families
Broulim’s prepares grocery packages for a traditional holiday meal, while local schools help identify families who could use the support. Troopers will deliver the meals in December, ISP says.
The announced arrangement gives local schools a role in identifying families and troopers a role in getting the grocery packages to them.
Collection deadline and locations
According to ISP, donations can be made at participating Broulim’s locations through Nov. 25, either at trooper-staffed booths or at checkout registers. The release describes collections across eastern Idaho; it does not provide individual store schedules or a family application process.
Previous reach, not this year’s result
ISP says the effort began in 2017 with 53 holiday meals. The agency reports that it provided meals to 744 families last year — 2025, given the November 2026 release date. Those figures describe the program’s history, not the number of families already served or guaranteed meals in 2026.
