Edmond Police Officer Gives away Stimulus check to local business

January 11, 2021 By glipnews 24 Comments

Edmond police officer Jeff Morefield gave his entire stimulus check to local business Conscious Community Cafe & Co-op and challenges other law enforcement, government service employees, teachers and military to do the same.

“If you work for the city, state or federal government you have had a solid paycheck during this pandemic. Many folks have not!”

We need to hear more great stuff involving the police,, this officer isnt selfish to give away his whole stimulus, hopefully that business will be able to stay open. I want to thank all officers for going the extra mile to keep us safe 💖

I would be thrilled to give mine up but I broke my back in 6 places in a horse accident and my check doesn’t come close to cover my food and medicine. I alternate one month I do without food for the last seven days and the next month it is medicine . I will give my check up before I would let the elderly or kids do without .

It is just a damn shame that the media
does not report on these good deeds.
Giving your stimulus check away is
a wonderful gift to to those less fortunate. Thank you for your service.
    Sincerely, Albert M. Lutton.

Our LEO’s are under paid and often overworked. We all owe them our upmost gratitude and respect. May God hold each of them in the palm of His hand on their shifts tonight and always.
